Thurs. May 3 5:30-7:00 Family STEAM and Avid Night

Fri. May 4 MCA reward day at Skatin’ Place

Thurs. May 10 5:30-7:00 PTA Spring Picnic

Mon. May 14-Wed. May 16 Buy 1 Get 1 Free Book Fair

Thurs. May 17 Field Trip to Hemker Zoo

Fri. May 25 1:00 3rd Grade concert

Thurs. May 31 Last day of school

 

MCA Testing

We take our math MCA test this week!  Please make sure that your child gets enough sleep the night before and gets breakfast if he/she doesn’t eat at school.  It is also important that your child be to school on time as we test at 8:00 am all three days. Encourage your child to take his/her time and use scratch paper!

Field Trip

Our class will be going to the Hemker Zoo in Freeport on Thurs. May 17.  Please return the signed permission slip and the $5.00 fee by Fri. May 4.  Thank you to all who contributed to the walk-a-thon, these funds are helping to pay the rest of the entrance fee and for our bus there!

 

Skatin’ Place Trip

Third graders who took their time and showed their work on the MCA tests will be celebrating their hard work with a celebration at the Skatin’ Place Fri. May 4.  We will be eating lunch there. If you chose to send a lunch from home, please remember to send it with your child on Friday!
