Each year, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) issues the Aspirations in Computing Awards to high school students who show great promise in computing. Applicants from across the state compete for this award.

This year, two Apollo students have been awarded the Affiliate Rising Star Award for their computing-related achievements and interests:
