Board of Education Meetings Update
On March 25, Governor Walz issued an executive order mandating a two-week Stay at Home directive and an order for schools to provide distance learning through May 4. To maximize efficiency and effectiveness, all non-essential business will be postponed.
The following information details Board of Education operations during these unique circumstances.
- The April 1st Board Meeting/Work Session has been cancelled, and all necessary District business will be conducted at the April 15th Regular School Board Meeting.
- Per Board approval at the March 18th meeting, future School Board Meetings will be held by teleconference, or other electronic means, to ensure the health and safety of the Board of Education and District Administration.
- Regarding community input, at this time we are asking the public to direct questions or concerns to Board of Education members or Superintendent Jett via email.
