One District One Book Kicks Off Feb. 8

It’s just about time for One District One Book (ODOB)!  Each year, the elementary schools in District 742 celebrate “I Love to Read” month with a very special book selection that all families can enjoy. Every evening, the students read one to two chapters of the book with their family and come to school ready to answer the daily trivia question and participate in other reading activities.

ODOB is a time that truly fosters building-wide excitement as the students, staff and families all celebrate a love of reading. We can’t wait to reveal the title of this year’s book!

ODOB kicks off with the book reveal on Feb. 8. Join us for a FREE ODOB Event on Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Scheels, the proud sponsor of this year's ODOB. Family-friendly activities, a scavenger hunt, stories, games and so much more! Families are welcome to bring a book to Scheels to donate. It will be another exciting adventure! Reading begins Feb. 11. What book will it be this year? Stay tuned…
