Clearview Unity Day

Clearview Unity Day

Clearview Elementary celebrated Unity Day in a big way on Oct. 24.  The morning began with an outdoor Unity Day parade during the daily Morning Mile Walk. Clearview mascot, Cody the Cougar, joined in the celebration and walked with students who were all dressed in orange. During the parade, each classroom proudly displayed their unique unity posters to show their support and commitment to spreading kindness, accepting others and including everyone. After the Unity Day parade, staff and students gathered in the gym for morning announcements and the anti-bullying pledge. To end Unity Day, students participated in an all-school assembly called Bulldoze the Bully by Brian Richards. Students enjoyed the anti-bullying message combined with his card tricks, magic and humor.
