District 742 held its second annual 742 Education Expo on Jan. 6 kicking off kindergarten enrollment and preschool registration. Families from the area enjoyed meeting their principals and school staff. They learned about District 742 programs and had fun with activities such as robots, tools, 3D printer, art stations and climbing the bus!
Local businesses and organizations joined in the fun. The Science Museum of Minnesota's engineering assembly performed interactive demonstrations. Junior Tiger Gymnastics showed off their technique. LEAF PAKRAT bus displayed their mobile library. Kids jumped around in AirMaxx bounce houses and were able to climb aboard a St. Cloud Fire Department truck, St. Cloud Police car and Gold Cross Ambulance.
The main stage featured Kennedy orchestra students, Alison Feigh from the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center and wellness demonstrations from District 742 Student Services.
