The PAKRAT program recently submitted a video to compete for a Gannett/USA Today grant of either $100,000 or $50,000. Beginning Wednesday, April 12, online voting will be open to students, families, staff and community. The 10 projects that get the most votes will go on to be reviewed by a committee who will decide the winners that receive the grant funding.
Obviously, we'd like to win and receive these funds to support the PAKRAT Program. Should LEAF win this competition, 100 percent of the funds would come back to District classrooms through PAKRAT books and the Summer PAKRAT Roll & Read project.
The official website during the voting period will be act.usatoday.com
. To view the video type "PAKRAT" in the search bar.
