Tech Aerospace & Robotics Students Visit NASA
Thirty-five Tech High School students from Dr. Keil's Aerospace Engineering and Robotics classes went beyond the classroom and traveled to NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas for an out of this world educational experience. Students met with NASA personnel including astronauts, engineers and scientists while experiencing spacecraft and aircraft technologies. In addition to NASA, students toured the Lone Star Flight Museum and met with a retired commercial airline pilot. Students also experienced Texas culture by attending the world's largest rodeo, seeing a country music concert, eating barbecue and Mexican food, seeing the Gulf of Mexico and traveling through historic Galveston Island.
