Where to Get Vaccinated

Minnesota school immunization law 121A.15 and District 742 Board Policy 530: Student Immunization states that in order for a student to enroll in childcare, early education programs or school, a parent/guardian must show they have received school-required immunizations or an exemption.
If your child's immunizations are not up to date, you must:
1. Provide updated immunization records to your school's health office, OR
2. Submit an approved exemption form.
Deadline:
All records or exemption forms must be submitted by the first day of school or as soon as possible. Students without the required documentation will be excluded from school starting January 5.
Exceptions to Immunization Requirements:
You may qualify for an exemption if you provide:
- A letter from a medical provider explaining why your child cannot be immunized, OR
- A notarized statement from the parent/guardian stating it is against your conscientious beliefs (religious or personal), OR
- Proof that your child is in foster care or homeless
Transfer Students:
Students transferring into St. Cloud Area Schools have 30 days to provide immunization records. On the 31st day, they must be immunized to attend school.
