In-District Transfers

In-District Transfer Application and Process:

Families who live in District 742 are assigned to a school attendance area based upon their geographical residence.

District 742 will accept requests for students to attend a school outside of their residential attendance area, provided they meet the deadlines listed below. These requests are subject to review and approval by district administration and will take into consideration both the reason for the request and capacity at the requested campus.

Families of students attending a school outside of that designated by their address will be responsible for transportation to and from school (with the exception of students in a language immersion program).
