• I started working in education as a paraprofessional in the North Saint Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale school district while I was finishing my Social Sciences degree from Metro State in Saint Paul.  I really enjoyed working with students who needed a little more help regulating their behaviors and emotions.  I then was promoted to become a Behavior Intervention Specialist, and I continued to love working with students in elementary, middle school and high school.  I decided at this time to pursue my Masters Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders.  After graduating, I worked in the Saint Paul School District for a few years at the Rivereast Therapeutic School.  My family decided to move out of the city, and we moved to the Canadian border, where I taught for 5 years in Warroad.  My family moved again, this time to central Minnesota, and that is what has brought me to ISD 742.

I am very excited to work with parents, guardians and stakeholders in students' lives to help them achieve their goals and dreams.
