    I am a third grade teacher at Discovery Elementary. I am passionate about creating a safe classroom environment that accepts all students and allows for incredible learning. My students know that the best learning occurs when we make mistakes, so we strive to create a classroom family that allows children to take risks to become better readers, writers, and mathematicians. 

    Teaching Experience and Education

    I began teaching third grade at Discovery Elementary in the fall of 2022. Prior to teaching in ISD 742, I taught for 19 years at a private school in the area. I spent the bulk of this time teaching third grade. I also taught fifth grade for two years in California. I earned my BA in Elementary Education from the College of St. Benedict. I also earned a Master of Education degree from St. Mary's University.
