Dear parents,

My name is Kynan Maynard, and I'll be your child's teacher for the upcoming school year! I am looking forward to getting to know you all and guiding your child through a successful year. First, allow me to share a little about myself. I have completed my Masters in Elementary Education from Augsburg University and have volunteered in the Osseo School District as well as Minneapolis Public Schools. I have been with Saint Cloud Schools since the 21-22 school year and look forward to many more! 

My teaching philosophy guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom, so I start our school year with plenty of activities so everyone can get to know one another. I encourage them to share their questions and opinions in an unbiased and open environment.

I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material.
