Hello! I was born and raised here in Central Minnesota. In 2009 I graduated from Sartell High School in hopes to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Psychology. After a few classes, I realized I wanted to teach children in an academic setting rather than clinical. In order to pursue my passion for teaching children, I chose to attend The College of Saint Benedict for their exceptional education program.  While at CSB-SJU I majored in Elementary Education with an concentration in Mid-level Mathematics Education.  I graduated December 2013 with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

Upon graduation, I worked one semester as a Math Corp Intervention Tutor at Kennedy Community School located in St. Joseph, MN. Seeking adventure, I relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the spring of 2014, where I taught preschool for a year and a half. Feeling a bit homesick, I decided to return to St. Cloud in the fall of 2015. Back in my hometown, I took a position as preschool teacher for Reach Up Head Start for the 2015-2016 school year. In May 2016, I took my current position teaching 1st grade at Madison Elementary School!

I currently live in Rice, MN with my dog Blue. In my spare time I love to be outdoors (yes, even in the winter!), read, dance, sing, and spend time with friends and family.
