Hello! I am the school social worker at South Junior High for Special Education students. I provide moral and instrumental support, access to services, advocacy to address the student's needs, and mental health services. One of the things that I love about my job is talking and getting to know my students as well as their families or caretakers. Sometimes, my job requires talking to students about things that happened to them that are hard to deal with.
A brief overview of my background: I was born in Santiago, Chile and moved to the United States in 1985. I am married to Edward Greaves and have two daughters, Daniela and Shannon. Both of them graduated from college, and they are working in their careers.
I have a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Social Work.
I also enjoy activities such as reading, photography, cooking, and swimming. My favorite animal is the "seagull", because seagulls can fly freely in the ocean.
