Mrs. Lindsey Nagorski M.Ed
I was born and raised on Long Island, in Islip, New York. In 2000 I graduated from Islip High School with a NYS Regents diploma. In order to pursue my passion for teaching children, I chose to attend Hofstra University for their exceptional education program. While at Hofstra I majored in both Elementary Education and Psychology. I graduated in the spring of 2004 with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology. In 2013 I decided it was time to further my education and began attending graduate school at The College of Saint Scholastica. In May of 2015 I will graduate with my Master of Education degree as well as a certificate in Educational Technology.
Since my graduation in 2004, I have held several different teaching positions. I began my teaching career as an Academic Intervention Services teacher (Title 1) at Mt. Pleasant Elementary in Smithtown, NY. I had student taught at Mt. Pleasant, and spent a year and a half in my AIS position before deciding to relocate to Fargo, ND. While in Fargo I was a substitute and then a preschool teacher. In December of 2007 I relocated to Little Falls, MN. Since August of 2008 I have been employed at St. Cloud Independent School District. Several years were spent teaching 5th grade, and the last few have been spent teaching 1st.
I still currently reside in Little Falls, MN with my husband and two children. Besides teaching and raising two children I spend my time in a variety of ways. I can often be found cooking, reading, sewing, knitting, dancing or singing!
