Transportation Services

Each day, approximately 9,000 students are transported by bus in District 742.

Traveling over 1.6 million miles each year through more than 100 different bus routes, District transportation ensures the arrival and departure of students to and from school each day. The District 742 fleet and four additional private carriers work in tandem, repeating the delivery each day.

The transportation department has safety as its top priority. Training of bus drivers and students is a regular part of the transportation program.
