Equity services is dedicated to advancing educational equity by developing, implementing and evaluating programs that foster diversity and inclusion. Its primary goal is to ensure all students have access to high-quality education, regardless of their background or challenges. all equity activities, programs and services districtwide to effectively support staff and students

Key aspects of the department's mission include addressing barriers to learning by identifying and removing academic, social and emotional obstacles that impact student success; narrowing achievement gaps, particularly for students of color and students from low-income backgrounds, through targeted programs and support; creating equitable educational opportunities through culturally responsive practices and ensuring resources meet the diverse needs of all students; supporting the success of students and staff by promoting academic achievement, emotional well-being, and professional growth in equity and inclusion; and fostering social and emotional development through suppoorts that create a positive, welcoming and inclusive culture.
