Communications

The communications team ensures public awareness, understanding, trust and support for St. Cloud Area Schools.

The team is dedicated to the district’s core values and strategic plan and operates strategically and collaboratively to engage families, staff and community partners in the important work of our schools. As a public institution, the district is committed to delivering clear, timely information about the business of schools and strives to facilitate a two-way communication process that involves internal and external stakeholders.

The department coordinates several internal and external communication efforts for the district, including:

• 742 new stories
• E-newsletters
• News/Press releases
• Crisis communications
• Publications
• Website
• Social media  
• Media requests

Communications also acts as a resource for district staff, offering assistance with writing, publication design, photography and videography.
