Teaching Schoolwide Expectations
Teaching Schoolwide Expectations
The schoolwide matrix lays out the behavior we need in all settings across the school campus to create a safe and positive learning environment. The matrix is used to directly teach positive behavioral expectations and is posted as a visual reminder to students and staff. By developing, teaching and posting setting specific behavioral expectations, the stage has been set for providing specific positive feedback when observing students demonstrating the behavior on the matrix. The School-Wide Matrix is sent home to encourage home/school partnering.
