Discovery serves students in preschool and grades K-5, and is the home of the Dolphins. Discovery is adjacent to Quarryview Education Center, which features large play areas and spacious green space. Students from Discovery will attend North Junior High or South Junior High School, depending on where they live. Serving students in preschool and grades K-8, Kennedy is located in St. Joseph and is home of the Colts. The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded Kennedy with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Schools (LEED) certification at the GOLD level. Kennedy is used as a model for promoting green schools across the region.

Madison serves students in preschool and grades K-5. It is located between the Centennial and Pantown neighborhoods of north St. Cloud. Madison is home to the Mustangs and has two gymnasiums, a spacious media center and large play areas. The Chinese Immersion program is just one of the many offerings that make Madison families proud.

North Junior High School serves students in grades 6-8 who live on the north and west sides of District 742. North is also host to the middle-level Chinese Immersion program. The 25-acre site has abundant recreational space, including four football/soccer fields, two baseball fields and two softball fields. north is home of the Eagles.

 Apollo High School (AHS) serves students in grades 9-12 who live on the north and west sides of District 742.   The school’s 65-acre site is near the VA Medical Center and the Municipal Athletic Complex. AHS is home of the   Eagles.   Its school name, which is borrowed from the U.S. Government Space Program, has always embodied a   sense of mission.

Clearview serves students in preschool and grades K-5. Home of the Cougars, Clearview’s 56-acre site sits between the two towns of Clear Lake and Clearwater. As a host school for Spanish Immersion, students can receive instruction in English or in Spanish beginning in kindergarten and first grade.

Lincoln Elementary School

Lincoln serves students in grades 4-5. Located in east St. Cloud, it is one of District 742’s smaller neighborhood schools. It replaced a four-room, $11,000 school built on the same site in 1890. Lincoln is home of the All Stars. Students from Lincoln will attend North Junior High or South Junior High, depending on where they live.

Oak Hill Community School

Oak Hill serves students in preschool and grades K-5. Located on the southern edge of St. Cloud, it received its name from the community because of the beautiful oak trees found on the hill behind the school.  Its five soccer fields host many soccer activities throughout the year. Oak Hill is home of the Owls.

Talahi Community School

Talahi serves students in preschool and grades K-3. Located on the southeast side of St. Cloud. Built on 21 acres of wooded land, Talahi is an Ojibwa word meaning “Among the Oaks.” Talahi is the home of the Timberwolves and is a host to the Somali Immersion pilot program. Talahi students complete their elementary education at Lincoln for grades 4-5.

South Junior High School serves students in grades 6-8 who live on the south and east sides of District 742. South is also host to the middle level Spanish Immersion program. Located near Roosevelt Road in south St. Cloud, South is in   its fifth decade of providing middle level education. South is home of the Tigers.

Tech High School (THS) serves students in grades 9-12 who live in the south and east areas of District 742. Built in 2019, this modern facility incorporates flexible learning spaces, technology-enhanced classrooms, and state-of-the-art athletic and arts facilities to continue a tradition of excellence and pride among its students, staff and community. THS is home of the Tigers.
