• Bob Balfany

    I am Special Education teacher at Katherine Johnson Learning Center where I teach Science (Physical Science, Biology). I am currently also earning a Chemistry Teaching Licensure through Bemidji State University. I began working at Tech High School in 2018 as a paraprofessional, and began teaching during the 2020-21 school year. I believe that students learn best when they are in a relaxed, stress-free environment, and I strive to foster an inclusive, enjoyable learning atmosphere. 

    My wife and I live in Saint Augusta with our two dogs and cat. In my free time I enjoy boating, ice fishing, hiking, spending time with family, and playing guitar.  I enjoy science, history, reading, and current events.
