Join us in congratulating the St. Cloud Area School District Volunteer of the Month, John Neis. John has been a volunteer at Talahi Community School for many years. He has served on the PTA and now volunteers three days a week at the school. John works closely with Talahi's STEM program and is very knowledgeable about technology and completes many other helpful tasks. He is extremely punctual and willing to do anything that will help Talahi students succeed. John understands our students and our mission to promote creative thinking and group collaboration among all students. His kind personality and wealth of knowledge make an immediate impact when assisting staff and educating students. According to his nominator, without John and the many hours of dedicated volunteers, the STEM program wouldn't be as far along as it is. Thank you for your hours of service, John!
Congratulations to Coach Bryan Brophy from the Apollo Trap Team for being nominated as the St. Cloud Area School District Volunteer of the Month! The Apollo Trap Team is a relatively new program at Apollo High School. It began last spring, and is coached and managed by adults who volunteer their time. As soon as Bryan heard that Apollo was starting the team, he asked to join as a coach. He has been instrumental in helping to develop the team with his coaching and leadership skills he has shown with the athletes. Bryan spends individual time with each participant and helps fine tune their skills so that they can be their personal best. Bryan is a graduate of Apollo High School. The time and resources that Bryan spends on the Apollo Trap Team are truly appreciated. Join us in congratulating Bryan!
