Mrs. Bibeau

I am a grade level academic lead, primarily in second and third grades, at Discovery Community School and Kennedy Community School. In this role, I work in partnership with teachers, building leadership, and district staff to support student learning in all content areas. My primary way of doing this is by providing coaching and instructional support for licensed staff. I also help to facilitate instructional initiatives for both schools as well as provide professional development for licensed staff.

Teaching Experience:

I have been in an instructional coach role since 2018. Before transitioning to this role, I taught first grade at Discovery for three years. (I also taught first grade online in our district's Distance Learning Academy during the 2020-21 school year.)

Prior to teaching at Discovery, I taught second grade at Madison Elementary School in St. Cloud and pre-kindergarten at an urban school in San Francisco, California. My other experience in education includes serving as a preschool literacy tutor with the Minnesota Reading Corps in Stillwater, implementing educational programming at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul including managing their Preschool Playdates program, volunteering at the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul, and providing theater workshops and camps for children with the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota.
