Residential Survey
-
As part of the High School Design process, the district contracted The Morris Leatherman Company to conduct a scientific, random-sample survey of residents to assess awareness, attitudes and acceptance of facility needs and potential proposals. This survey provided critical information to the administration, Board of Education and High School Design Committee.
Among the findings were:
- 86 percent of District 742 residents believe that public schools need to better personalize learning for every student to ensure all learners see academic growth.
- 83 percent of District 742 residents feel it is somewhat or very important for our high schools to provide equity so all kids, no matter where they live in the district, receive the same opportunities for learning.
