Shara Stone, Assistant Principal
-
Shara Stone is excited to return to South Junior High as assistant principal. She has served the St. Cloud School District 742 community for over 22 years. Most of her time was spent at South Junior High teaching science. Prior to moving back to South, she spent two years at Lincoln Elementary School as assistant principal.
Stone earned a bachelor of science from St. Cloud State University with an emphasis in aquatic biology. After taking a job at South Junior High School, as a paraprofessional, she decided to pursue a career in education. She went back to school for her teaching license and earned a master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. She then completed her school administration license from St. Mary’s University.
Her greatest joy as an educator comes from the relationships she has built with students and families over the years. She enjoys running into former students throughout St. Cloud and finding out where their paths have taken them. She is looking forward to supporting South students as they navigate their middle school years. Go Tigers!
