Brian Nutter, Principal
Brian Nutter is excited to begin his first year as principal of North Junior High. Prior to joining the staff of District 742, Mr. Nutter worked in Minneapolis Public Schools as a teacher, assistant principal, program coordinator, and central office administrator. Brian’s strengths include a passion for equity and social justice, building positive schoolwide culture and community, and fostering educational environments students and teachers thrive in.
Mr. Nutter spends most of his free time with his wife, Jada, and their four children. They enjoy camping, traveling, and watching movies together as a family. When not at North Junior High or at home with his family, there is a good chance Mr. Nutter is serving his community as a citizen Soldier in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Mr. Nutter has completed 20 years of military service, including five overseas deployments to Germany, Iraq, Japan, Kosovo, and Kuwait.
Mr. Nutter looks forward to working with the students, families, staff, and community members of North Junior High to ensure every student receives the best educational experience possible.
Heather Ebnet, Assistant Principal
Heather Ebnet is excited to begin her third year serving North Junior High and her 17th in the St. Cloud School District. Ms. Ebnet began her career as a teacher at Talahi Community School and has since served at Discovery and Madison as well. Ms. Ebnet is passionate about helping students exceed their potential academically, socially and emotionally. Her strengths include building relationships with students, staff and families.
Outside of school, Ms. Ebnet spends time with her husband and two sons in addition to her extended family and friends. She enjoys going to concerts, sporting events and watching movies. You may also find her going for a run with her best friend most days after school.
Ms. Ebnet is excited to embark on her new role as Assistant Principal at North. She is committed to providing each student, family and staff member at North the very best educational experience. Soar Eagles!
