Community Partnerships

  • Community partnerships with the district serve to further the district mission to prepare, engage, educate, empower and inspire all learners to be successful in today's and tomorrow's society. Partnerships enable the district to provide opportunities and build capacity for student success as well as promote relationships within the community.

Partnerships with the district serve several functions, but chief among them is student achievement. Partnerships also work to promote family engagement and equity; foster community; increase career and/or college readiness and improve health and safety.

A Community Partnership Committee meets annually, or as needed, to monitor and assess the success of partnerships within the district and individual schools. A database of community partnerships is posted to the district website and consistently updated.

A partnership is defined as any group, organization or individual that provides services or programming to support the success of St. Cloud Area School District 742 learners inside or outside of school.

A sponsorship is defined as any group, organization or individual that provides donations or other resources to promote the success of St. Cloud Area School District 742 learners inside or outside of school.
