Welcome to Mrs. Marschel's 5th Grade Class!

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year of fun, learning, and lots of adventures... I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us! I thought you might want to know a little about me. I am married to my wonderful husband, John. We have three children Ethan (6), Eli (3), Nora (2), and a basset hound named Lila. They take up most of my free time, but I also enjoy cooking, reading, gardening, taking our dog for walks, and spending time with friends and family. I have lived in the central Minnesota area for most of my life. I went to Sartell High School and graduated from the University of MN-Duluth in 2008 with a degree in community health. After working for several years, I decided I wanted to pursue elementary education. I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2012 with my elementary teaching license. I have been teaching at Oak Hill since 2012. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
