Students Compete at Districtwide Spelling Bee
District 742 students competed at the districtwide Spelling Bee on
Thursday, Jan. 28. The student competing are winners from their School Spelling
Bees. The Spelling Bee was split into two halves. The first half consisted of
fifth and sixth grades students and the second seventh and eighth-graders. The
final three students in the fifth and sixth competition went several additional
rounds to place first, second and third. All three in the first half and
second half advance to the Regional Spelling Bee.
Grades 5-6 Winners:
